Repairs . . .
We come to you, at your home or office, we repair - usually right then and there. Below is a list of some of the types of repairs we do.
Blinds, Shades and Shutters:
- ReCording (Restringing)
- Cord Loops
- Cord Locks

- Vertical Headrail Re-Stringing
- Motorization Issues: Motor/Remotes
- Shutter Repairs
- Ladder Replacement - Decorative Tapes or Cord Ladders
- RV Shade Repairs - Day/Night Shades
Mobile repairs on blinds, shades and shutters are done, usually, right then and there - On-Site.
**We ask that you clear the area in front of the window prior to our arrival. We need to be able to remove the shade or blind safely and unimpeded. Additional Charges may apply, for example; over 10' high or wide, Moving Furniture, working under Draperies, Valances or Cornice Boxes, etc... (To be quoted On-Site.)**
***Not all blinds are meant to be repaired. For example, blinds purchased off the shelf at a Big Box Store. These are better off being replaced, in most cases (check out or "New Treatment" page for possible replacements). Repairing custom blinds or shades will always be less expensive than replacing, for the most part.***
Verticals: We ( DO NOT ) do mechanical repairs on vertical headrails. Items such as; carriers, carrier stems or clips, and tilt controls. The only repair service we offer for verticals is restringing (recording)
Other things to consider:
You can reduce the cost of the repair by removing and rehanging the shade or blind yourself and handing them to us at the door. This can save $5.00 or more per window (depends on individual blind set up).
If we were not a mobile service you would have had to remove the window treatments in order to bring them to us for repairs, anyway. Just let us know when you call that you will remove and rehang the blinds or shades, when you call.
